TAA developed, produced and installed on location all theming of the new Maya area opened at the end of April 2009 at Heide-Park Soltau.
However, you neither mess with the Mayan gods nor with the weather. In one of the coldest winters with snow and temperatures below zero lasting for weeks, Udo Weisenburger and the TAA team met this challenge, braved the most adverse weather conditions in order to artistically re-design the Maya theme area in time for its inauguration with over 100.000 kg of cement. During the implementation, TAA worked closely together with the Heide-Park team in order to turn the final conceptual drawings into a high-quality, economically attractive package. The TAA designers presented optimised designs based on the basic concept that would even correspond better to the local conditions and client’s demands. All decorations by TAA were carefully crafted by hand in a traditional way in correspondence with the highest European quality standards at TAA’s own manufacture in the new EU-country Rumania in order to guarantee authenticity and a long life. All structures were completely galvanised and many of them pre-produced.
